What this is for

Plenty of teams need senior design judgment before they can justify a full-time Head of Design. They are building something ambitious, often with AI at the center, and they need someone who has done it before to set direction and raise the bar now, not after a six-month search.

What I do

• Fractional design leadership: act as your Head or VP of Design. Vision, team, process, and hands-on craft.
• AI experience strategy: define how AI shows up in your product so it earns trust and reduces work instead of adding noise. I led the strategy behind SPOTIO's DASH AI co-pilot.
• Design systems and 0-to-1 teams: build the system, the hiring bar, and the operating rhythm from scratch.
• Product and brand: the rare range to own both, so an early team gets two hires in one.

How engagements work

A monthly retainer tied to a day commitment, typically one to two days a week. Embedded with your product and engineering teams, senior and hands-on from day one. Advisory and scoped-project arrangements also available. Terms shared on a quick call.

I also design and build my own AI-native products, most recently Cubby, a parent-controlled kids' app I built solo and launched on iOS. So I lead from inside the work, not above it.
